On my MacBookPro 5.4 unibody, upon upgrading to nvidia-bl-dkms 0.16.4~karmic,
when loading X, the screen remains off. The brightness controls don't work and
the screen remains completely dark.
Moreover, even when switching to the console, the screen remains black and I
can only boot with a usable os disabling the module. Even the recovery single
mode is affected.
My kernel version is 2.6.31-20-generic.
Note that previous version (0.16.1) worked well!
