Hi Ken, I had a little time last night and submitted a PR to update the Portfile and a couple of the patches so that they would work with version 3.7.3:
https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/pull/29072 It appeared to build correctly and a sample program seemed to work. Hopefully the PR will be accepted.
