version not being considered for removal?
Will the oldest version to be kept still work on at least Snow Leopard? (useful
among old OS versions as the last with the original Rosetta)
If neither of those is a problem, and it's no longer supported upstream, then
good riddance, IMO, esp. IF migration is straightforward, old databases still
work without being dumped and reloaded, etc.
