Eric I know that 'me tooo' posts are a pain but at least this will give you confidance. I did for my laptop and for a VM to play with mythtv. Clean Install of catelina Clean install of xcode Clean install of macports I don't recall where, maybe on license accept, but certainly following the wiki, command line tools were installed. Macports just works James
