he daemondo process wraps other processes on 10.4 to adapt to programs
that aren't written for launchd. Its presence doesn't mean that the
thing it wraps is running, so if you don't see the actual process, it
isn't.

Ahhh, thanks. Then it's not running since I didn't find the config file and couldn't fix the configuration (I've been looking for a directory that contained the 'mods-available', 'mods-enabled', 'sites-available' and 'sites-enabled' directories but it looks like the macports version is setup differently)
