Hi,

as I wrote earlier I am having a related problem. Running octave
within Terminal.app I don't get it to open a plot window. However, it
does not crash. Running it within an xterm works.

Hi,

I'm afraid that didn't work for me - running octave in an xterm still caused
the same crash when plotting...
