PR#96 for legacy-support (the project, not the port) has been outstanding
for two weeks now. I'm a maintainer of the *port*, but that doesn't
necessarily get any attention for PRs for the *project*. In the past,
it's been handled by mascguy (co-maintainer of the port), but he doesn't
seem to have been around since early August.
Also (as mentioned in the discussion), this supersedes PR#95, which should
be closed without merging.
