Unfortunately, Winter Storm Mara delivered several days of freezing rain to the
Austin area. The ice and wind has broken a large number of tree branches which
has downed a large number of power lines. 30% of the city, including the
buildbot machines, has been without power, in the case of the buildbot for 38
hours already. As of four hours ago the power company has stated they are
unable to provide an estimate for when power will be restored.

This affects the build.macports.org web page, all build machines*, and also
updates to rsync.macports.org.
(*The Apple Silicon build machine is off-site and still online but can't get
anything done without build.macports.org telling it what to do.)
Based on a couple of ports where I've had PRs merged recently, it looks
like the buildbots are mostly back in service, but Mojave and arm64 are
still out.
