What are you trying to accomplish? When specifying a full URL like in your example, it's only useful to use a tag so that multiple distfiles can be downloaded from different places (any subdir will just be part of the URL).

For an example of using both a subdir and a tag with a mirror group, see py-bootstrap-modules. The Guide has some relevant examples as well.
