I'm not saying that we need 40+ volunteers to write a single paragraph each, and I don't think that would work well either. But maybe you (or someone else reading this) would be willing to stand up and volunteer to organize whatever needs to be done to improve our communication with the broader community. We probably need just ONE person with a clear vision, some ideas and a tiny bit of time to boost the visibility and news from the community. Would you be willing to lead the effort? I'm sure that others would gladly help, but it needs to start somewhere and with someone with sufficient motivation, resources and ideas to carry things out. We can certainly improve that if someone willing to write the contents (with the help of others) shows up.
