Hi, the other day I found an article on hacker news [1] which eventually made clear that homebrew actually sends (some) data to google analytics by default [2]!
I am happy about MacPorts’ “analytics” by port mpstats being absolutely opt-in and keeping the data within MacPorts (Clemens’ server in fact) and doesn’t try anything funny!
