trying to build vlc (-qtkit -x11 +quartz) I got two errors: avahi is a dependency, but cannot be installed, as py-pygtk is not listed as a dependecy for avahi. I manually installed avahi with "-gtk -gtk3 -x11 +quartz". Then, building vlc fails with the following: > checking for mad.h... yes checking for mad_bit_init in -lmad... > yes checking for libavutil variant... ffmpeg checking for > AVCODEC... yes configure: error: libavutil versions 55 and later > are not supported. How to solve this?
