Greetings, I've completed a first draft of a m2e connector for the Maven Dependency Plugin:

I'd plan to add similar support for copy, copy-dependencies and unpack-dependencies if this first version is well received. This is my first Eclipse Plugin, m2e connector, and Tycho project.
