The Model 100 I sent off to Jeff Birt, just came in yesterday. After having it over night, it seems all the issues are gone, the contrast stays totally stable.
It was recapped, and has a new memory battery. Tests were also run on it, for the IO, and then a 24 hour test program, before he sent it back. I am very pleased with it. If you ever need a service that you don't feel comfortable doing yourself, see if you can get in contact with Jeff. I do reccomend his services.
