Tom,

Great suggestions! I found the virtualt.prefs file as you directed. I made
my directory structure as shown in the perfs file and used the info to create a
TPDD_ROOT directory in the right place. I then moved the various OptROM images
(.BX files) to TPDD_ROOT so that subsequent installation under REXMGR was
successful. Now I have a fully functional VirtualT v1.6 and running REX 4.8
(past install) on my T200. Nice!

Next: I think I will skip an upgrade to REX 4.9 and go for REX#. I hope that
goes well.

Thank you again for your help!

                Bob

Yes, Virtual-T uses the Application Data folder.

To get to Application Data, open a File Explorer window and type %appdata% into
the address bar.

Down at the bottom, you should find "virtualt".

The file is a simple text file, so you can view it with Notepad. You can either
delete the file completely or edit the lines related to the Rex Flash file.
Note the \\ instead of single \ for directory separators. Make sure to use that
format, or the prefs file may not load properly when you restart Virtual-T.

I'm not much of a Windows person these days but the location of AppData can be
determined, if your system is configured in a highly unusual way:

If VirtualT's Windows version takes advantage of the AppData facility of the
OS, you may find something there.
