Strange, that an older different document is doing it alright.
I checked similar complains in the Internet and tried
tools>preferences>file handling> file formats
which shows BMP and default output latex (pdflatex) in BOTH cases,
so that can't be the reason.
View other formats and selecting pdflatex as well as update other
formats works, as well as pdflatex export.
I can live with it, but it is a bit annoying.
Check the default output format for the document, under Document>
Settings> Output.
Thanks, Richard, yes, that was the difference. In one of the documents
output was > default output format instead of pdflatex. What is the
