I remember such a problem in an older LyX version. LyX 2.0.2 is about 2 years old. You should update to LyX 2.0.7 on Ubuntu as well as on Windows.
For Windows please uninstall LyX 2.0.2 and then reinstall LyX 2.0.7 using this installer: ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/bin/2.0.7/LyX-2.0.7-Installer-2.exe regards Uwe
