I am currently updating the documentation of the LyX preferences and have 2 questions:
1. Under Language Settings->Language there is now a default length unit. What is this used for?2. Under Look & Feel->Document Handling one can decide if the document is closed or hidden when its tab or view is closed. What is the benefit of hiding the document?
