Hi guys,
Thank you, I understand that now. So I think this part of the tutorial
should be re-written. N.B. I was not trying to change the document class of
the tutorial file, but of the file that the tutorial had instructed me to
write. And it then instructed me to change the document class of the file I
was writing. It did not instruct exactly what document classes to use, so I
tried the ones it specifically mentioned. So I was following the
instructions exactly, but suddenly it was not working. Although you guys
understood why, for someone who is a beginner, it is pretty weird to be
following the instructions exactly and then for it not to work (hence my
coming to this forum!)

Maybe the instructions could be updated by specifying document classes to
change it to, but ones which will actually work for the file the tutorial
has had us write. And to explain also at this point that one cannot change
to certain document classes for certain reasons. That would make it clear I
think.

Thanks!
