Hello ! Trying to use macros for making more easily math formulas, I wish I can send to Lyx some commands.
Throiugh the "Tools>Preferences" menu, we can already build "hot keys" to issue some Lyx commands. For instance, "command-alternatives cell- backward;tab-delete;depth-decrement;outline-out" is attached to the Backtab key, or "math-insert \gamma" is attached to "Alt-M G G" to write a gamma letter. But for more flexibility, I would like to emit those commands directly to Lyx. For instance, I would like to be able to send "math-insert \gamma" to have a gamma. (I know that I can type Latex commands in the formula, but I would prefer to have the full power of the Lyx language) Is there any mecanism that could allow me to send these commands to Lyx ? Thanks.
