Well, me too, for that matter :-)

But as I said, you won't have to re-do everything. It might happen that some 
stuff is not converted properly to the new scheme, since there are so many 
complex things you can do (especially if ERT is involved). If that happens, 
some finger-painting might be necessary, but you won't be left with a mess.

I've tested a fair amount of all sorts of slides now. Common things should 
just work.

So again, the more people help testing, the better the result in the final 
release of LyX 2.1
