I have a strange problem with Lyx. I have been using it regularly and today it suddenly stopped working. I cannot compile the pdf anymore, if I try to get a preview or try to export the file it goes on for a very long time without producing any output.
The strange thing is that if I re-install everything from scratch, then Lyx works only for the first time I open it. If I close it and open it again it does not work anymore! The fact that I do not even get an error message makes it even harder to find some help on online forums. So, I have decided to write to the mailing list. Please help me! Thanks, Omar
