I don't know the solution to your problem. You might hit a general drawback of nomencl or makeindex, which should be replaced by the much better glossaries package (which supports xindy) eventually within LyX. As to your problem. i suppose you know that you can work around the sorting glitches by means of the sort key.. Jürgen > Thomas
