Dear Liviu,
Thanks for applying for LyX at GSoC.
I'm not sure what my schedule will be like in summer. I'm not very
familiar with the LyX code base, having tried to debug some issues but
not having implemented any significant code.
So I think I can be a backup (co-mentor) for times when the main
mentor is absent, but only for one project (as I would have to
familiarize myself with the details of that project).
I'm sorry I cannot be of more help, but I will try to help out if it's
already known that the main mentor in a project is absent for one or
two weeks within the coding period.
I hope other mentors will come forward with their project ideas!
In my experience, a good way to find a project is to try to find
something that can be done in half the time that is available. Things
often take more time than you think :-)
