Thanks Wilfried, I thought already of the newer versions. However, I cannot compile the source on Linux; qmake just does nothing. I als tried 2.1.1 on Windows but there my problems persist. I must confess I used the default settings, may be there can be some advise given and please also on compiling on linux. Cheers, Janwillem
