Like what? Have you tried changing the 'Default' placement
method---right click on the float label > settings? Often 'Place here'
or 'Ignore latex rules' has some effect.

I also think that there is a command that makes LaTeX typeset all
remaining floats before continuing, possibly:
\afterpage{\clearpage}
