Hi everyone,

This thread (http://www.mail-archive.com/lyx-users@lists.lyx.org/msg91203.html)
reminded me about a font issue I am having.

Neither View>PDF-XeTeX nor View>PDF-LuaTeX produce PDF output when
non-TeX fonts are selected, and DVI-LuaTeX produces a PDF with
scrambled lines with anything but the standard ASCII char set
(detailed below).

OS: Mac 10.6.8
MacTeX-2011
LyX 2.0.2

I have tried files with the following content and results:

regular English text: works in DVI-LuaTeX but nothing else,

regular English text
plus a serif-less font, works in DVI-LuaTeX but nothing else,

regular English text
plus a serif-less font
plus a line in Cyrillic, produces scrambled output on the Cyrillic
line in DVI-LuaTeX, fails with other pdf methods,

regular English text
plus a serif-less font
plus a line in Cyrillic
plus a line in IPA, produces scrambled output on the IPA line and
Cyrillic line in DVI-LuaTeX and fails in other methods.

The fonts I've tried are Linux Libertine/Biolinum (set through the
Document Settings>Fonts>non-TeX fonts) and Doulos IPA and Helvetica.
Test files are attached.

Cyrillic and IPA used to work with Libertine in LyX 2.0.0. Does anyone
know what's going on?

Maria
