I would be quite happy with only .docx support. As time goes by more and more of the people who insist on sending me Word documents get new versions of Word which default to that format. For the .doc format documents I can always use LibreOffice to convert to .docx. Supporting Styles and Figures is a major achievement as far as I am concerned. I assume you don't do much in deciphering the fingerpainting favored by most Word users. Such crass formatting is probably best left as Standard in LyX anyway. Les
