Hello: I became interested in this one too. However no matter whether I set the TEXINPUTS prefix or leave it as is I always get error message: !pdfTeX error: pdflatex (file ./inkscape.pdf): reading image file fail I have linux, lyx-2.0.1 and texlive 2010-34.1.
