Hi,

I'm using Lyx2.0. My article contains two sectioned bibliographies which are
located in two different subsections (using the option
"Document->Preferences->Bibliography->Sectioned Bibliography"). The first bib
is fed from the database "primLit.bib", while the second bib is fed from
"secLit.bib". Both bibs were generated using JabRef. The bibstyle is set to
IEEEtran.bst. Several citations are spread over both subsections using Lyx'
"insert citation" function.

So far everything works fine and Lyx generates two distinguishable
bibliographies containing the referred literature sources.

BUT unfortunately the nummerical references ([1],[2],[3],...) are not sorted
chronologically (e.g. with ascending numbers) according to their appearance in
the text. Moreoever, the list of references is sorted alphabetically instead of
being sorted by the appearance of the references in the text.

I'm wondering why bibtex doesn't sort the references properly according to the
IEEEtran.bst stylefile.

When I'm merging my to bibs to one overall bib the sorting works properly.

Has anyone any experience using Lyx, sectioned bibs, and IEEEtran bibstyle?

Thank you very much in advance!
