I knew I needed Sweave, just not sure about noweb. The file has never seen 1.6, it was produced in Lyx 2 on Ubuntu 11.04, but then opened in the Mac after I had upgraded to the existing 1.6 to 2.0. I did say this in original post, and in the post when I uploaded the file :-) Graham
