Please excuse me if this question has been answered previously. I am writing a manuscript in LyX 1.6.9 using the elsarticle package in MacTeX and when I export the .lyx file into a .tex file several things change during typesetting:
The LaTeX editor (TeXWorks or TeXShop) does not recognize the .bib file and no bibliography is displayed Line numbering does not seem to work in the above mentioned LaTeX editors When I am typesetting the .lyx file all these are displayed correctly and in the resulting .tex file all commands seems to be correct. Could anyone please explain why this is happening and how to fix it? With Thanks, Akos Horvath
