Greetings all,

First of all, thanks to all the ones who created that wonderful LyX program!
I'm a great fan of it and pushing its use whenever I can.

Now my question. I'm using LyX 2.0.0 on KUbuntu 11.04.

I'm writing a document, the main language being french. But here and there,
I need to include some words in other language, e.g. japanese (words like
富士山 for example, input using iBus). Document class is "book (Memoir)".

I installed all the fonts I could find, all LaTeX packages, tweaked almost
all combinations of settings of encodings and XeTeX-related options,
browse dozens of web pages of forums... but when I manage to create a PDF
without error, my japanese text simply disappear.

Any hint about what I can do? should I post a minimalist sample file?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
