Dear All, Please, do the following:
1. open a multiline AMS box; 2. write a equation; 3. insert the label 'eq:01' into your equation; 4. press control+enter; 5. try now to change the label again to 'eq:01'? Can you see a suffix to be appended to your new label without your consent? LyX presumes that the label is duplicated, but it is not in fact the case, it seems to me. I am using lyx-2.0.0-0.21.rc3.fc14.x86_64. Thanks in advance, Paul
