This one is caused by the default 'preprint' option. See the docs [1]
sections 2 and 4. I'm not sure how to turn it off, but I'm confident
you're not the first one looking for this. Also try your luck on
stackexchange [2], which would give you much better chances of getting
a helpful answer.

For this I suspect you would need to hack the class itself, or at
