Hi Gunter Sorry of my typing. It is not *.doc file. The document class given is in Latex format. So it is 'ws-procs9x6.cls' I copied that file into ~usr/Library/texmf/tex/latex/lyx directory. Placed under lyx folder. Then I created ws-procs9x6.layout and save it in ~usr/Library/Application Support/LyX-1.6/layouts. Now, I managed to see 'ws-procs9x6' in the drop-down list but empty output file was generated because of many LaTeX errors that I not understand. Any idea? Thanks
