works perfectly here. maybe miktex issue, there has been similar

Hmm, LyX 1.6.8 is still installed and the preview works with. So I do
not think that this is a MikTeX issue so far. It seems to be a LyX
issue.
Here some more what I did - and it worsened:
- deinstall of beta3, delete lyx2.0-folder in registry, reinstall => no
improvement
- deinstall beta3, install beta2 => now here the math preview is broken
as well :(
Does that mean the problem depends on MikTeX as Pavel suggested in the
first place?
What drives me crazy is that I cannot easily downgrade to LyX 1.6.8
(still installed) since it refuses the LyX beta 2files.
