Hi LyX developers and community, I'm putting the finishing touches on the first draft of a 100K word book, and while typing I was thinking how wonderful LyX is, and how grateful I am for LyX. Unlike other writing tools, LyX ignores accidental double spaces or accidental double newlines. It never crashes except in on very specific math activity, so you just back up a lot in math. It never screws up your file.
It's WYSIWYG enough to see what's what in the editing environment without compiling to PDF, but not so WYSIWYG to introduce code bloat and instability. LyX is built for speed. I've had a 6000 word day using LyX, a couple 5000 word days, and several 4000 word days. Thanks so much for this spectacular writing tool.
