I know that this issue has come up several times in the recent past, and that its been off-loaded onto xorg/QT problems. I am experiencing very slow reaction times when typing and deleting, as well as scrolling the document window. I have the latest debian sid installation and everything else works fine.
Is there no solution for this, apart from moving to Lyx 2.0 (which is not an option for my large document)? I have each chapter in a branch and I only work with one branch open at a time, but this doesn't help at all. I also have the navigation window closed, and math preview is off. Mateo.
