Because its LyX 1.6.7 was compiled using MSVC 2008 and SCons and thereofore doesn't show the problems of the other installer that was compiled with MSVC 2010 and CMake. The CMake problem is now fixed, but I don't know the MSVC issue. Therefore I recommend what I know that works.
