This works to some extend, even though I can not c&p between two instances of lyx, only within one instance. Also the pasted text is underlined in blue (although this does not show on the final pdf or dvi).
> Paste special > Plain text I have tried that also but all there seems to be in the paste buffer is stuff from the lyx document I copied, although I copied text from other applications after that. I am not sure when I used c&p last but I am pretty sure it worked fine then. So I would really like to get it to work like this again.
