Hi, I'm using LyX 1.6.5 since I upgraded to Ubuntu Lucid, and I'm slowly discovering new features. Yet, is this one intended:
When you start, e.g., a math fraction, either with the icon or Ctrl-F or whatever shortcut, the cursor goes to the right of the whole fraction, instead of positioning itself in the numerator (or denominator). As far as I remember, this was not the case with the previous version I used (1.6.2 in Ubuntu Jaunty). Wouldn't you expect to be ready to type the numerator right after inserting the fraction? Another example is when you prepare to enter some special math font, e.g. calligraphic. There, too, the cursor goes after the box where you would type the calligraphic letters. What do you think of this? Can it be adjusted by some setting which I have missed? TIA - regards, -- Daniel CLEMENT
