can you indicate please how to put an inset with the file-name and the
file-dir in a lyx document.
call these lfuns:
info-insert buffer path
info-insert buffer name
I looked ast all buttons and all menu entries without seeing it:

there is no ui counterpart. but there will be in lyx 2.0
(and with other possibilities like revision number and so on... ;)
