Hello,
I still was not able to solve my problem with the numbering of
footnotes in a report [koma]-class and BibLaTeX-style footnote-dw of
Dominik Waßenhoven – maybe somebody has an idea about that…
I would like to give the first citation of *every* chapter a full
reference, not just of the first ciation of the whole document.
There has been a workaround of Dominik, which in my case does not work
and does not change the situation at all. I have added it here.
Thank you
Jess
I have changed every chapter, paragraph etc. without numbering and
replaced them with numbered ones (Chapter, Paragraph…), but the
problem remains the same:
These commands do not work in the console:
Browse to the appropriate
subdirectory and type the following (only the bit after the >):
,--
¦ C:\Temp\lyx_tmpdir.gq7420\lyx_tmpbuf0>bibtex8 -W <filename>1-blx.aux
¦ C:\Temp\lyx_tmpdir.gq7420\lyx_tmpbuf0>bibtex8 -W <filename>2-blx.aux
For me it looks as if to have these commands working there should
exist files, wich have the endings "blx.aux", but in fact those
endings do not exist in my folder. There is a file with an "aux"
ending, and there is also one with "-blx.bib". I suppose that this
is the reason for the error the console gives out, which is:
bibtex8 -W <filename>1-blx.aux
-bash: filename: No such file or directory
I have tried the same without entering the "<" and ">" in front of
and after the filename, and then the console gives out another error:
I couldn't open file name `Music_after_Music_46_chapter1-blx.aux'
(That was a fatal error)zs-macbook-3:lyx_tmpbuf0 Z$
What did I do wrong?
Thanks again and best*
Jess

I don't know if the biblatex option works with Chapter*. You should
try
Chapter and see if it works then. If not, we have to search further.
Best,
Dominik.-
