The problem is that, while my original PNG
file (cut.png, attached) looks good (and the
preview in lyx looks just as good), the
processed PNG image (img2.png, attached)
does not look good.
This is most probably a problem with your version of ImageMagick.
To fix this,
- wait for the next LyX release (LyX 1.6.5 will be available during
this weekend)
- uninstall LyX 1.6.4 _completely_
- check if Imagemagick is now still in the list of installed programs
in Windows. If so, uninstall it.
- open an Internet connection and reinstall LyX using the alternative
LyX 1.6.5 for Windows installer
This way you get the latest version of ImageMagick and a new LyX->HTML
converter.This converter is called eLyXer and works much more stable
than tex4ht converter that is the default on in LyX 1.6.4.
I should have mentioned that I am running on Linux (RedHat4.)
Below is all of the chatter which is emitted during the export/HTML process.
I see use of latex2html, perl scripts to interrogate the image size
and "Generating postscript images using dvips."
Is this the intended process ?
