Have you used TeX code to insert the listing of have you used the listings insert via the menu Insert->Program listing?
However, I also get the same error and it seems that the listings package doesn't work together with beamer. Can you please prepare a minimal example file, export it to LaTeX and send it to the beamer developers. I hope that they know a way to use listings with beamer.
