Hi I use the svmono class from Springer-Verlag and it works fine, I got a layout file from another LyX user via one of the official LyX forums. I have attached the layout file. For some inexplicable reason I get a compile error when I try to use the "Notation" environment, even though it is identical to the "Definition" and "Note" environments. I have attached a .lyx file that demonstrates the problem. Could "Notation" be a reserved word within the svmono.cls file or something?
