It is possible but not easy. There are many packages providing text
fonts but only few for math. Especially, if you want sans-serif fonts
in math the choice is limited:

==================== =======================================================
Textschrift          Mathe-Schrift
==================== =======================================================
Arev                 *enthalten*
CM-Bright            *enthalten*
`GFS Neohellenic`    (`Computer Modern Bright` )
Iwona                *enthalten*
`LX Fonts`           *enthalten*
TG Adventor
TG Heros             (sfmath )
==================== =======================================================

See "The LaTeX Font Catalogue"
http://www.tug.dk/FontCatalogue/mathfonts.html

Most of these packages are not supported by the GUI font selecting box.
Set it to [Default] and load the package in the LaTeX preamble.
