Dear Lyx users,

I have a document with a rather large table full of text, and I need to
reduce font size and select an appropriate paragraph spacing for the cells'
text. Changing font size is no problem, but I am having trouble controlling
the interline spacing (the leading space). I tried both selecting the cells'
text and then editing the Edit>>Paragraph settings, and inserting a
\singlespace command just before the table.
Neither method works. In the pdf output, cells with 5/6 lines of text have the
first few single lined, while the last 2/3 lines have a larger vertical
spacing.
I looked at the Embedded Objects manual, but did not find any mention of
specific techniques needed. Perhaps I looked in the wrong places?

I am also using longtable, plus the landscape and changepage packages to
rotate the table and make it bigger than the normal text block, if that makes
any difference.

Any help appreciated,

Stefano
