I am trying to use Lyx 1.6.2 to create a poster under Linux.Lyx shows sciposter.cls in the list of document classes (Tools/Tex-information), but when I go to Document/Settings/Document class I cannot find it. In fact, many other classes that
are on my system are also listed as Unavailable.I re-ran Texhash from the konsole and Reconfigured Lyx, but it did not solve the problem.
What am I missing? Thanks,
